An independent guide
This website helps people choose an official Notepad++ download and complete common setup tasks. It is not the official Notepad++ website, is not affiliated with the project, and does not publish its own Notepad++ installer.
Notepad++ is developed by its project contributors. The project’s official website is notepad-plus-plus.org and its source repository is notepad-plus-plus/notepad-plus-plus on GitHub. Those sources handle software releases; their instructions take priority when a version changes.
How the guides are prepared
Package descriptions and feature instructions are checked against the official repository and user manual. The guides use original explanations and practical examples. They do not present ratings, user counts, download speed claims or first-hand software tests that have not been performed.
Content was reviewed on October 2, 2026. The download links point to the project’s current release pages, so the guide does not pin visitors to an old installer. The review date does not mean this site refreshes itself automatically.
